Rugby is finally becoming recognised as a sport that women can both excel in and enjoy. The fact that this dynamic game is for all women regardless of shape, size or speed is one of the reasons why rugby is the fastest growing women's collegiate sports in the United States and Canada. Exiles Ladies' team aims to develop players by teaching the fundamentals of rugby while improving fitness and coordination. Exiles Ladies was officially launched on March 18, 2000 with their first dedicated training session. Enthusiasm has grown and a full team regularly takes to the field.
